First broadcast on The Reputation Management Podcast, produced by Lansons, 10 December 2019.

I joined Tony Langham, Chief Executive and co-founder of Lansons, and Naomi Goodman, Board Director at Lansons, for episode five of The Reputation Management Podcast. I was Head of Communications at Akka Technologies at the time.

The discussion covered the connection between a company's leaders, its culture and its reputation, and whether businesses now ask more of their leaders than is reasonable. We looked at how trust in leadership is measured, at the decision to speak publicly on societal questions, and at diversity in STEM careers.

The underlying argument, which has held up since, is that reputation is built from the inside out. What a leadership team does internally shows up externally, whatever the external communications say.
